This A Fight For Every Campus We Need To Know The Stand Of Osogbo, Ifetedo, Ejigbo, Ipetu-Ijesha, Okuku On This New Development

No comments :

We need to know the stand of Osogbo, Ifetedo, Ejigbo, Ipetu-Ijesha, Okuku on this development. We really need to know your stand. This is not what only one campus can fight, but if non of the aforementioned campuses is nwilling to stand up and challenge this increment at the moment when almost every student is finding it difficult to pay the existing 95,000, it means Ikire is alone. But I don't want Ikire to be alone on this struggle this time around or else, many students will suffer for it and of what significance is the comrade & honourable tittles we attached to our names if we can't fight for ourselves, and the students we represent?

Non of my parent was at the meeting and how can we allow 50 or 100 parents to decide the fate of thousands of students? No no no. It's out of it.

Who in insuring who? What are you insuring? Necessity they say is the mother of invention and if at all any health insurance is to be introduced, it should be requested by us, but we are not requesting it as students don't always wait for school for their medical treatment because we have no reason to. But if the school deem it fit to provide it fine, however, it should not be at our expense.

I honestly don't know what the PTA #5000 is going to be used for. But if it's for security or anything related to that, I suggest we should totally condemn it. It's the primary responsibility of the school to provide for that. If students fight in school or outside school, the security personnels would be showing off their muscles and punish the students in question, but if students are attacked by robbers in their hostels, it's not school affair, funny and they are telling us now to pay additional #5000.

Since I have resumed to this University, I haven't had access to school ICT let alone "WiFi" but I never failed to pay $500 ICY fees for once. Yet they are telling us now to pay additional #5000.

Did the school management and the said parents are aware that about 40 to 30% of students sponsor themselves? What will be their fate?

On a final note, I as a person I see this as wickedness. Do we need to remind ourselves of the recession or the unpaid salaries or the inflation or the unemployment? The school should remind itself that it's not dealing our parent, it's dealing with us, the students

Let Fight A Legal Fight Not Unjust Ones. 2cents View On Uniosun New Policy

No comments :

1. The notice of #20, 000 was circulated around April 2016,  no one responded,  i think that's why the school assumed students have accepted it. Union leaders need to write the management on this effect.

2.  The issue of 2nd week payment stuff is just a mere threat,  they can't use it,  so don't give urself unnecessary stress. Admission won't be over till 8weeks after resumption.

3.  The issue of 70% attendance have been a rule since the inception of the school. Still they don't use it.  So why bothering yourself ?

4.  Parents paying school fees isn't a bad idea,  atleast they are the one dropping the money.

5.  #5000 parent forum money is normal,  Alumni fee is around #10000 mandatory.

P. S : He who fight and run away,  live to fight another day.

So let Fight a legal fight,  not unjust ones.
My 2cents

A BELATED WISHES TO THE "VERY GOOD BAD GUYS"

No comments :

Biting a piece of memory some times taste somehow distinct like mixture of cheese and woe. The past, filled with fun and cheers though not in the absence of worry, treachery and betrayal, remained a stronghold for future impregnable with doubts and hope since time is a circular river,no known beginning nor certain end,we only opt for chances and grace, so to live it well within the limited space and goodwill shown to and perhaps, found from others.
We,comrades,as products and students of history and pragmatical ideology owes one-another the debts of appreciation and commemoration most especially on special days to remind ourselves of what 'morrow holds in regards and regardless of what the past had given because no friend worthy of reliance can be found elsewhere than in comradeship (AMICI DU AMICI).
In light of the above "rants",I regret the current state of the movement and no doubt placed its heavy blame upon myself even though we all know that should not be correct enough. But for the sake of progress, meaningful to only the progress-minded fella, leadership must always take the blame and clean the stable off its mess to be fair enough in accommodating the swift rides.
Our sense of silence when a cadre is to celebrated, at least for his/her past valour inspired this piece,as I found it unwelcome, although I may be wrong. Few days ago,"Castro", and "Simple" on the followed day were to be celebrated in due course on this platform despite the bounties of our private messages but almost close to silence was the response. Not bad enough really since it's never made a custom here. The only way to energize and re-energize our soldiers is to sing them loud when necessary. I agree that personal challenge can be an obstacle to this yet,it can not be universal.
On this note, I put up,though belated, but yet wishes to the duo out of the most stubborn trio (Akinbinu Ayodele inclusive) of an era close to the begining of our history. A revolutionary red salute  with my fist tight in stretched arm above my head wishing them blissful EARTHSTRONG,saying:Viva IDAKULA!!!

Must Check Uniosun And There New Shocking New Policy

No comments :

NOTICE!!!
This is to inform the general students of Osun state University that the management has come up with a new managerial style, which prompt them to make some policies which  parents agreed with. Policies such as :

*School fees should be paid by the second week of resumption, that after the the third week failure to pay part or full payment of the school fees will attract #20,000.00 extra.
That students who fails to attend  70% of lectures will not be allowed to write the examination for such semester.
*That the school should allow the parents to be the one paying the school fees themselves and that he students will be the one to do the course registration themselves, this is due to some behavior of some students towards payment of school fees.
*That the parents will be paying total sum of #5000 for the annual parent forum due.
That the resumption date is 24th of oct, 2016.

GOOD NEWS UNIOSUN GETS NEW GOVERNING COUNCIL

No comments :

The Visitor to Osun State University, Mr. Rauf Adesoji
Aregbesola on Monday, 8th August, 2016, inaugurated a
new Governing Council of Osun State University
(UNIOSUN). In his acceptance speech, the Pro-
Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Mallam
Yusuf Olaolu Ali described the University as a
“Potentially Great University” .
Mallam Ali averred that the appointment of the team is
indeed a call to service; “We must therefore be ready to hit
the ground running by placing our time, resources and
endowments at the disposal of the University so that the
raison d’etre for our appointment will be realized and the
expectation of the State met” .
Mallam Ali further reiterated that it is axiomatic to
underscore the point even at the risk of stating the
obvious, that Government alone cannot fund education
to the enviable height and to that extent, all hands must
be on deck. To this end, he solicited for the co-operation
and collaboration of the Management, Teaching, Non-
teaching staff and the students of the University in the
arduous task ahead of the team.
Mallam Ali gave the assurance on behalf of other Council
members that their decision shall be driven by justice,
fairness, equity, humanness and fear of God. “We shall
always be guided by the philosophy of what is best for the
system at all times, irrespective of our individual wishes,
interest and aspiration, what is best for the system is best
for all” .
The newly constituted external governing council
members include; Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Alli,SAN
(Chairman), Prof. Charles Abiodun Alao, Prof. Solomon
Akinboye, Sir Ademola Aladekomo, Prof. Kasali Adegoke,
Engr. Tunde Ponle and Dr. Abeke Omotoso . The

Mrs. Grace Titi-Laoye Tomori , UNIOSUN team which was
led by the Ag. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oguntola Jelil
Alamu; Secretary to State Government, Alhaji Moshood

Idahosa University is poised to produce 800,000 tonnes of tomatoes to ameliorate the present shortage in the supply of tomatoes in Nigeria in the next one year.

“We are at a risk of food insecurity; that is what is happening now. If you have food security, you will have plenty of food available. But food security in this country is being threatened,” he added.

It will be recalled that the Minister of
Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Audu Ogbe, had on Tuesday explained that the pest called Tomato Leaf Miner /Tuta absoluta, which was responsible for the massive destruction of tomatoes in farmlands, had spread to six states
in the country.

While noting that shortage of tomatoes in the country has become an embarrassment to the nation, Izevbigie said the BIU embarked on a
research that would make tomatoes available all year round.

According to him, the school had already cultivated 10 hectares of the vegetable corop which is expected to produce 200,000 tonnes in every three months “and from our research
and findings, we can do this four times in a year and all put together, we will be harvesting 800, 000 tonnes annually. With this,
we can ameliorate the challenges posed by the shortage of the crop, the VC stressed.

Schooling Is Not Education (Must Read)

No comments :

Often time, it feels bored studying in Nigeria. The school does not prepare the children for the real world, but an
avenue to compete with others. The crowning achievement or feat to be attained by any student is to
graduate with honour.

However, it does not guarantee
good job. I use to ask my self this question repeatedly that " is it
true if you don't graduate from University, you won't get a good job or become rich in life ? hmm!Notably, the richest people didn't get rich because of there educations.

Micheal Jordan and Madonna are both typical example. Even Bill Gates, who dropped out of Harva University founded microsoft; he's now the richest man in America, and he's still in his 30s.

There's a baseball pitcher who makes more than 54 million a year
even though he has been labelled mentally challenged.

Infact , a well known musician, in person of Wizkid, dropped out of leadcity University in his second year, not a few thought he made the wrong decision.

But today, he's one of the richest men in the early thirty. This is to
say that Schooling is not education, and does not determine success in life. Hence, there's no limit to what
you can achieve in life.

The word "TALENT " is a free gift from God. It takes you anywhere in life. Hope you've discovered your own
Talent ? if not, try to do so now for the benefit of tomorrow.

One Important Management Lessons I Learnt From A 500 Naira Note

No comments :

1. It happened some time ago but . I was in an audience listening to a motivational speaker. The speaker got out his wallet & pulled out a 500 Naira note. Holding it up, he asked, "Who wants this 500 naira note?"Lots of hands went up. Including mine. A slow chorus began to build as people began to shout "Me!" "Me!" I began to wonder who the lucky one would be who the speaker would choose.

And I also secretly wondered
(and I am sure others did too ) why he would simply give away 500 naira.
Even as the shouts of "I want it" grew louder, I noticed a young woman running down the aisle.

She ran up onto the stage, went up to the speaker, and grabbed the five 500 naira note from his hand. "Well
done, young lady," said the speaker into the microphone.

The speaker simply say "Most of us just sit and wait for good things to happen. That's of no use. You've got to make things happen. Make a move" 'Simply thinking about doing something is of no use and not gud
enough'. Our lives are like that. We all see opportunities around us. We all want the good things. But the problem is we don't take action. We all want the 500 naira notes on offer. But we don't make the move.

We look at it longingly. Get up, and do something about it. Don't worry
about what other people might think.
Take action.

Closing Date For JAMB Change Of Course/Institution For 2016 - Final Chance No Second Chance

No comments :

However it no more a news that JAMB Change of Course has commenced.

However, this extension will not be long. The official closing date for 2016 JAMB Change of course/Institution is on Friday 13th, May 2016. There will be no further
extension .

We understand that many candidates are waiting to know the cut-off marks of their respective institutions before making the decision on whether or not to go for
change of course and institution. However, many of This institution usually wait until announcing their Post-UTME sales of forms to make known their cut-off marks.

If you wait that long, you may have only succeeded in putting yourself in an unfavourable position because change of course and institution would have been very much over by that time.

So what you should rather do is make your decision based on the previous Post-UTME cut off marks of these institutions and effect the necessary changes immediately.

Please Do Not Wait Until The Last minute.

This was made known by Prof. Clement Adebooye,Provost, College of Agriculture, and the Project's
Principal Investigator for Osun State University(UNIOSUN), Oshogbo, Osun State, Nigeria.

How To Bag THIRD Class In UNIOSUN (Very Easy Way)

No comments :

So many things have been said about graduating with a first class, the top tens and twentys have come and gone and I am like “How come no one gives tips on how to graduate with a third class.

Anyways, the following steps, if adhered to will give you a third class degree.; No! it is trusted but not
totally tested.

1. Don’t Love your course: Yes, after all… You applied for a dream course but instead you got another course right? Why should you care about the
course? Not like you will use the certificate abi?

2. Don’t go to classes : Albert Einstein was a truant, yet he was more brilliant than his teachers. Lectures teach the same thing over and over again, same scheme for all. Their attendance is bullshit, it doesn’t
count, they don’t have time to even record impromptu tests.

3. Wait till exam is near before you start reading:Who reading don help? After all, you can cram the whole textbook in a day. School is meant for flexing, don’t mind those that read, they don’t know that YOLO is the motto.

4. Have no regards for Education Bill Gates,Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs and other billionaires of theworld, they didn’t go to school right? Even 2face,
D’banj and co… School doesn’t guarantee success in life brotherly. Just sit and wait, money go find you.

5. Make friends with people that have the same goal like you. After all birds of the same feather flocks together right? Just hang out with people who are familiar with the steps above.

6. Hate your Lecturers : Arrrgh, those men are mean.Dem too dey dash grades anyhow, if it gets to your
mat number, them go carry D and E give you abi?Abeg hate them.
In case the following does not get you to third class, then I am sure it is on the way. Na just one year
extra you need.

Do You Use Gas For Cooking? Please Read This And Take Note

1 comment :

Let this not happen to you... This could be a common mistake in any household. How it happened:

The gas stove was on and cooking in progress. The lady observed some cockroaches near the sink and
grabbed a can of insect killer and sprayed it near the gas stove, which was on. There was an explosion and
in no time the poor woman was covered in flames, sustaining 65% burns.

Her husband rushed in, tried to
put out the flames and his clothes too caught fire. The husband is still in hospital, in the burns ward, still
unaware that his wife was declared dead on arrival. Let us understand: - All insect killer sprays such as "Hit",
"Mortein", "Heaven", "Raid", etc. have highly volatile and inflammable solvents.

The atomized spray particles spread very rapidly and one spark is enough to ignite this explosive mixture with oxygen present in air.

Please educate your family & friends about this and spread the word around.

Don't keep this message in your inbox. Please share...who knows you may save more than a life... I just did my part as received!

Improve Your Examination Techniques

No comments :

You have to improve your examination techniques which include timing and the way you answer questions.

It's necessary for you to understand any question before you attempt it. Don't rush to answer a question because of your confidence that you've read.

Work on how to manage time in the examination hall. This is because most examiners always give time that may not be enough for you.

Always answer the questions that you know very well before you move to other questions but make sure you do proper numbering of your answers.

Give illustrations and examples to support your answers but avoid verbose answers.

Always mind your grammar
because most examiners don't joke with mechanical
accuracy of answers. Verify your answers, submit your
answer booklet and leave the examination premises.

Open Letter We Are Not A Chameleon An Open Letter To Mr Governor

No comments :

This situation is just like a proverbial Chameleon in a dark environment that tries to change its colour from
white to black. What a comic Chameleon! Sir, our university is not a Chameleon. I was once your fan who was later converted by the recent issues.

This article is here to serve as an intellectual antidote for your latest decision which is poisonous to the prestige of our university. Sir, it seems you do not know that Osun State University is a metaphor of upcoming artist trying to gain fame but later changes his nickname; he
needs to start from the grassroot. Sir, we do not want new name.

The students of this varsity are in a state of quandary and quagmire because of the latest decisions in which they see as an incident that was accidental. We are proud of being students of Osun State University.

To avoid being captivated by fallacy of ignoramus ellenchi, if our name is changed, I think that is a means for
privatization. I need light.

There are issues going on in the university that we need your attention. The unpaid workers' salaries have given birth to extra year for 400level students while other levels have been mothering carry-overs because they have not made their school fees' payment. What is their hope?In the anthem you introduced, you emphasized on
Egalitarianism as your watchword.

As a student of political science, Egalitarianism and individualism are
principles of democracy. I think our views were not heard before you made the decision....

Historically, Bola Ige was not even born in Osun State, he was born in Zaria near Kaduna but only his parents are natives of Esa Oke. W
Does he deserve such? University of Ife was changed to Obafemi Awolowo University because the man was the founder of the school. With deference, we do not know
Bola Ige's contribution to the development of our school.

Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola was the founder.Notwithstanding, names given to the six campuses are
names that we do not even know the bearers.

I think my pen should rest for now, but Sir, we do not need any new name.

Between Osun State University And Bola Ige University, UNIOSUN Students" Community In Confusion; Chasing The Frivolity In Place Of Necessity

No comments :

Indeed, it was a shock to all sundry of entire University community and people present at the UNIOSUN 5th
convocation. It was an unimaginable announcement from the Visitor to the University.

In his convocation and
coronation speech, the governor of State of Osun and the Visitor to the University Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola
declared that Osun State University will be from now on Bola Ige University. A decision that is so unpopular in the university environment especially among the students.

The reactions of students showing they are not on same page with Mr Governor on the issue of name changing. Some students as a matter of alacrity released articles and some went as far as cursing the Visitor, some feel staging a protest will be a way of to stop the Governor
from changing the dearer name of the institution.

I am so much marveled with the comments from the so called elistically oriented students. To everybody's surprise, the National Association of Nigerian Students
(NANS) quickly released an article to condemn the action of the Governor and called for immediate reversal of the decision.

These reactions from students environment leave one with questions like what is actually the effect Of changing a university's name? Is Aregbesola the first
person to do so? Etc.

The name of Osun State University was changed to immortalize a late legal luminary icon, a former Attorney general of Nigeria, a former governor of old Oyo State, and a native of Esa-Oke in Osun State Late Chief Justice Bola Ige. A man that gave free education to the most fathers of the students intending to stag protest to his name. I am not here to dabble into the legacies left Bola Ige.

However, it is worthy to be noted that this is not the first time in history or in recent time that a university name
will be changed to immortalize a deserving hero of ours.

University of Ile-Ife was changed to Obafemi Awolowo University, yet the University remains first to reckon with in Nigeria. In fact most students complaining now must have tried OAU times before making UNIOSUN a resting abode. Ogun State University was changed to Olabisi
Onabanjo University, heaven did not fall. Ondo State University was changed to Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba, nothing happened to the school reputation and standard.

Recently, University of Ado-Ekiti was changed to Ekiti State University, there was no pandemonium,
changing Osun State University to Bola Ige University is now becoming an issue despite the fact the name Bola Ige itself is popular than Osun State.

I am compelled to write this because, just of recent a lot of students were debar from writing test because of the 'no school fee no exam' policy of university management including final year students, yet no protest was staged.

These same students were delayed for over 45 minutes before writing exam and they were stopped at exact time with those who were in before them, not a single article
was written from the students or the so called NANS.

Now, there are series of articles on an issue that adds nothing to or deducts nothing from the students.
When the college associations were degenerated into faculty associations without even a word on why it was done, nobody talked. We pay 5000 naira per session for ICT, without any access to it, nobody asked questions.

We pay 5000 naira for sport every session with nothing to show for it, we all remain dumb. We pay 1,015 naira every semester before we can do course registration, we all keep mute. The entire school facilities are in shambles, yet we care not. Most departments are understaffed, we feel it is of concern to us.

We have no students' governing body as a university, nobody lend voice.
Now, they changed the school name from Osun State University (UNIOSUN) to Bola Ige University (BIU), we all going agog against it. I laugh, I am laughing and I will
keep on laughing at these jokers thinking They now have a voice to speak with all of a sudden.

May I suggest a mantra # bringbackourschoolname
#bringbackuniosun.
Bunch of comedians chasing Mirage in place of Miracle.By Arisilejoye Abdul-Azeez, Economics and Development Department, Oyilola College of Management and Social
Sciences, Bola Ige University, State of Osun.

Improve Your Study And Revision Technique

No comments :

Reading for examination is different from normal reading. Someone who want to read for exam won't read his books like newspaper. There should be time for meditation after each session of reading. Create time to read and time for revision on what you've read.

Don't just read and wait for exam period before you'll start revision. It's also necessary to know your reading ability. Don't force yourself to read beyond your capacity. Make good use of your reading time even if it's just 2 or 3 hours in a day. Go out to play when you're tired and come back to reading.

Lautech May Soon Strike Read Reason And Why

No comments :

whether it is yet to be confirmed as true or still a rumour, the LAUTECH ASUU is set to embark on indefinite strike soon due to the highhandedness and recalcitrant attitude from both ownership states. The two visitors, Aregbesola and Ajimobi are both owing the ASUU an eighteen months salaries. Thirteen from Osun while  five from Oyo state.

It should be known that the V.C, in person of Gbadegesin has been running the school on Internal generated revenue ( I G R ). However, it may sound not correct in an administrative settings to run a school on IGR, but the school has no choice in order to avoid STRIKE. Many may seem all is well with the school as it conducted the 13th convocation on Friday, but the fact remains that it is struggling to compete with other schools and perhaps avoid a crumbling edifice.

Yes, the mega convocation which is the first of it kind in the history of LAUTECH may have captured a large turnout of people from various part of the country, but yet, it is out place that the school had planned well for the event. The notification of the  event was not only impromptu but poor. Administratively, it is abnormal to expect a TEN thousand plus convocants in a building that only takes 1200 seaters. This is to say that the school never had a plan for the convocation but literally as a means to raise funds for the school.

Indeed, professor Gbadegesin is a man of administrative acumen at conflict time. This is a man that has acted in many capacity to sustain the progressive march of the school. To have also heard that he was begging the ASUU yesterday not to embark on indefinite strike but twenty one days or three weeks as rumoured, is a reflection of his administrative dexterity.

Who will safe LAUTECH ?

Do you think if Osun state is disengaged will solve the debt saga ?

#LAUTECHmustnotStrike.

Lautech mouth piece.

Danger of Keeping Bad Company In School

No comments :

Bad company can be said to be having a set of immoral friends and taking after them, just as they are to having a bad company can occur in different ways, depending on what you do most, where you are and your activities in such place like school and more.

The major effect of bad company is loss of interest in studies. Bad friends do not encourage a person to take his/her studies seriously. All they could do is either teach one how to drink and smoke or prostitute by taking to sugar daddies or mummies.

if it is for a girl she is likely to get pregnant and at the same time contact HIV and AIDS and for a boy , he is prone to becoming a drunk accompanied by HIV/AIDS which can ruin his future completely.

Bad company can also make a student to accommodate arrogance as his or her paramount behavior toward the school authority. Thos can be by breaking the school rules and regulations in the sense that he or she will be coming late to class, fighting his or her mates for unreasonable issues and know to be rude to teacher in the school.

He can lead in school fight against other schools, not knowing that he is likely to be suspended from school or even expelled if care is not taken. This will mark the end of his or her education and such a child can become a threat to both neighborhood and country and consequently become a criminal.
Bad company can bring about the initiation of a student into secret cults. This always involves taking the lives of others intentionally.

I want to advice everybody to look before you leap. This is because there is an adage which says “SHOW ME YOUR FRIEND AND I WILL TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE”. We should try to know the kind of friends we are having, before they influence us with their bad character.
Also I will like to advice parent to please teach their children good moral behavior. In the case of manners, most students do not exhibit the attitude of well-trained children. It is important to call them to order whenever they are bringing up attitude acquire from bad company.

Effect Of Unemployment And Under-Employment In Developing Countries

No comments :

Unemployment and under-employment in developing countries are most acute in the area outside a few metropolitan cities; so there is a mass migration into these cities in a desperate search for a livelihood: and the cities themselves, in spite of economic growth, become infested with ever-growing multitude of destitute people. Any visitor who has ventured outside the opulent districts of these cities has seen their shanty town and belts of misery, which are often growing ten times as fast as the cities themselves.

Current forecast of the growth of metropolitan area in india, and many other developing countries, conjure up a picture of town with 20, 40 and even 60 million people a prospect of ‘immigration’ for a roofless and jobless mass of humanity, that beggars the imagination.

No amount of brave statistic of national income growth can hide the fact that all too many developing countries are suffering from the twin diseases of growing unemployment and mushrooming metropolitan slums, which are placing their social and political fabric under an intolerable strain. The suspicious has been voiced (and cannot be dismissed out of hand) that foreign aid, as currently practiced, may actually be intensifying these twin diseases instead of mitigating them; that the heedless rush into modernization extinguishes old jobs faster than it can create new ones; and that all the apparent increases in national income are eaten up, or even more than eaten up, by crushing economic burden produce by excessive urban growth. It is rather obvious that a man’s cost of subsistence-something-very different from his standard of life rises significantly the moment he moves from a small town  or rural area into big city.

MAXWELL DIARY 2 Love In Uniosun Ikire Campus (Campus life)

No comments :

It was in the early hours of monday morning in 0sun State University,Ikire campus. Some students were reading furiously and while some were gisting. It was the final examination to end the session. Most people were happy because they will be going to another level while
some will be graduating from the university.People do say you don't repeat when someone is in either 100l or 200l or 300l.So they belived that there is no repeat in university like our primary and secondary schools.

I was in the class about to write the last paper for the session to be a graduate when the lecture-in-charge
came in.He said 'I don't want to see your phones or any cheat with you.if I you were caught, you will fill the
malpratice form.Being the last paper in the school, everybody in the hall was careful.Nobody dared to
move his or her head, everywhere was silent like a grave yard.Suddenly,a student started to gasp ,he was at my back.

The hall started to become noisy, some people who wanted to ask or answer a friend used the medium to carryout their aims. The lecturer-in-charge ordered silence
in the hall.He asked for this guy friend who can take him to the clinic.A girl was about to stand when the lecturer said such person would not continue with the exam and
it is a carryover course for the person. The girl adjust to her seat very well.It was this guy girl friend. They do tell each other 'I love you',where is the love now?

Meanwhile, the lectuer later said he was joking with what he said earlier.
Can I say the girl loves the guy or what?
Is the girl decision right at the moment?
What will you do,if you were the guy?
Love is about sacrifice.

How Uniosun Calculate There Post UTME Score

1 comment :

Now,that jamb has already started & rolling, very soon you  guys(jambite&DE)would be thinking about p.utme & interviews respectively...
It is always advice-able to know more about  the department  you  are
about to choose and to found out what is the cut-off mark.

Therefore Am gonna teach u how uniosun calculate ur post UTME
score.

Because uniosun run a 50-50% (utme & post.utme) to calculate post.utme final aggregate,UNLIKE other schools
like Funaab etc that used the 50,30,20%(utme,o'levels and post.utme)respectively.

Let's go..!!
*1)-imagine u got 200 in jamb
(you  can put your  jamb score in place of 200)
*2)-Now divide your  jamb score by 8 (for instance)200/8=25%
*3)- what that implies is that before you wrote/obtain.The post utme form u have 25% already..!!
(Now try that with your current jamb score and See what u get already)
*4)-Now fast-forward to post-utme exam imagine you Got 55/100 has post.utme score...
*5)-what uniosun would do is to divide ur post UTME score by 2(for instance)
55/2=27.5%
(U can put the score u are aiming during post.utme there to determine your fate)
*6) this is how ur FINAL SCORE WOULD BE LYK
Utme 50%= 25%
P.utme 50%=27.5%
-------------------------
Your agrregate=52.5%
--------------------------------
*7) YOUR FINAL SCORE IS GONNA BE 52.5
* all this method was based on uniosun previous years
'AS OF WHEN WRITING/UPDATING THESE THREAD UNIOSUN HASNT ADOPTED ANOTHER METHOD OF
Post.UTME agrregaite score
* has of when writing this  info General Cut-off mark still remains 45(for non-indigine) & 40(for indigine)....I stand
to be corrected thou..
Although each dept has their respective cut-off marks...BUT THATS THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT..
If worst comes to worst u'll probably be given another course..

*8) FINALLY I would advice all aspirant on guest mood to join uniosunpeeps ,and let's interracts its fun down here.
*12) how many comment  do i get...??

And you can ask anything you want.

VARSITY STUDENTS REITERATE- OUR INSTITUTION REMAINS UNIOSUN, NOT BIU

No comments :

The students’ leadership of the Osun State University,Osogbo, has reiterated that the name of the University is still intact, admonishing the state broadcasting corporation, OSBC, to stop spreading falsehood.

This was contained in the students’ letter to the station through its Director General. A copy of the letter
which was made available to pressmen in Osogbo, the state capital, was jointly signed by Com.

Abubakar Abdulbasit O., the coordinator of the students
committee on the subject matter as well as Com.

Adesina Jacob O. Com., Oyesiji Sheriff and Com. Ajilore
Sheriff.

The said letter was tilted:

RENAMING OF OSUN STATE
UNIVERSITY, OSOGBO AND OFFENSIVE BROADCAST: A
REJOINDER. It reads in part:
“On behalf of the entire students across the six
campuses of the Osun State University, Osogbo, we
use this medium, Sir, to register our great and
combined displeasure at the one-sided broadcast of
your station on the controversial renaming of our
university. This renaming in honour of Chief Bola Ige
and other politicians was announced by the state
Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola at the convocation
ceremony held at the institution’s main campus,
Osogbo on the 9th of March, 2016 and had since been
kicked against.
“Therefore, we consider series of your
contemporaneous transmits in which you referred to
our esteemed institution as Bola Ige University
unmerited and offensive. Because, without hesitation,
the change of name is not welcomed by us and many
others whose interest is the growth of our institution
and not it’s continued dilapidation.
“As an agent of socialization operating under stipulated
ethics built on fairness and objectivity, we believe that
your station should at least be fair to us, if it cannot be
objective on this matter and desist from spreading
offensive messages which are in totality provocative.
With a thunderous emphasis, the name of our
university remains Osun State University and as one of
the strong institutions in the state, we wish to inform
you herein that there is no going back on our
resistance to the needless change of name.
“While our annoyance is not directed at the individuals
whom the Governor intends to immortalize, we are
opposed not only to the renaming but also to the
disquieting manner in which the announcement was
made. Even though we understand the provisions of
the law that established Osun State University and the
power granted to Mr. Governor therein, we emphasize
here reasons for which we are perplexed by the
announcement: Lack of proper consultations with
stakeholders; gigantic cost of implementations; loss of
identity; flagrant disregard of due process of Law
amongst others.
“Sir, just as we had earlier pointed out in our letter
(dated 24th, of March 2016) to the State House of
Assembly, we wish to inform you that the arrangement
by the Governor if put into effect will drain the state of
much needed funds. The cost of effecting the change
of name is not only astronomical and enormous but
also cumbersome and burdensome. Virtually every
property of the school bearing the inscription of the
present name will be affected. This includes the
website, the school buildings in their various locations,
the students’ and staff identity cards, the signposts
and signboards, documents, vehicles, even to the
lecterns in the classes and the list is not exhaustive.
“Bear in mind too Sir, our University is a creation of
statute. The extant law is the Osun State University
Law 2006. The Act provides for the establishment,
incorporation and administration of the University
among others. It clearly states that the state shall have
a University with the name Osun State University and it
shall have six campuses spread within the state. The
names of the campuses are also provided for under the
law. With this, it is not difficult to understand that the
name announced by the Governor is unknown to the
laws of the land which is far-off above everyone in the
state including the governor himself.
“Just as we emphatically and unambiguously reject the
renaming of our institution and its campuses, we will
do everything possible within the armpit of the law to
have same reversed and it is our expectation that your
station will review its position and henceforth take
appropriate step to do things in less provocative
manner. While we thank you for your time and
anticipated understanding, we hope for a fair coverage
of the lingering issues. God bless you and God bless
the State of Osun. Osun a dara oo.”
