Security Threats Continues In UNIOSUN Campuses
The issue of threats by security agencies towards the students of Osun State University, has been reported not have ended across the six campuses, as a student of the Faculty of Education, Ipetu-Ijesha Campus was beaten mercilessly by some Air force officers.
Comrade Mahatma, who happens to have been the victim of this case, narrated his own side of the story. He said, "I was so shocked with what happened that day; I noticed two boys fighting and, before I got to the scene, some Air force officers living very close had taken up the case and was already beating one of the boys; On getting there, I pleaded for mercy for the student that was being beaten but to my surprise, I was turned over and beaten mercilessly by this Air force officials."
The Comrade, who stood to fight for his fellow student, said he was very disappointed at his colleagues who ran and watched the scenario that was happening to him afar off. He also expressed his disappointment at the management who has however handled the case with levity, as well as the police.
It could be recalled that the threat the armed forces have been posing to the students of the school at Oshogbo campus, was just recently addressed when another came up this Monday.
